Narrative perspective and narrative voice are integral to the writing of fiction, but as Woolf often adopts the skills of writing fiction in the writing of essays, they are also evident in her essay collection The London Scene. This paper, focuses on the narrative perspective and voice of The London Scene, analyzes how Woolf integrates class and gender perspectives with polyphonic voices in her descriptions of representative places in London. It aims to reveal Woolf's reflection on personal and social identities, her challenge to the male-dominant literary world, her critique of the situation of male domination, and her de,~ire ta ree.an^tnle^t aFth~ hi^l- ~
