摘要
以1990-2009年新兴经济体国家的面板数据为研究样本,检验城市化模式与环境污染的关系。研究发现,小城镇和城市群并不必然导致环境污染,而是有利于治污减排,而且城市群对环境改善的效果相对更好。
This essay investigates the influence of small towns and urban agglomerations on environmental pollution, u- sing panel data of emerging economies from 1990 to 2009. It is found that the small towns and urban agglomerations do not nec- essarily lead to environmental pollution, and they benefit for pollutant abetment. Furthermore, the urban agglomerations are bet- ter for environmental quality.
