汪懋祖与苏州中学的学术化治校改革

Wang Maozu and Suzhou Middle School's Academic Administration Reform

近代教育家汪懋祖主持下的苏州中学在当时享有盛誉,不仅造就了一批专家学者,更培养了无数学术人才,堪称中国近代公立中学之楷模。汪懋祖在主持苏州中学期间,为实践其"学术化"的办学理念,严于律己、广招人才,创建了大师云集的"学术性"师资队伍;实行"教训结合"的学生管理模式,培养学生独立意识;建设"学术化"校风,学术研究氛围浓郁,师生共同进步。在汪懋祖"学术化"治校理念指导与实践推动下,苏州中学声名鹊起、人才辈出,对当代中学教育管理的改革与发展具有积极的借鉴意义。

Suzhou Middle School, directed by Wang Maozu, a contemporary educationist, was very famous at that time, which cultivated not only a group of experts and scholars, hut also numerous academic talents, worthy of the honorary title of public school model. Mr. Wang, to achieve the target of academic administration, was strict with himself, recruited a wide range of talents, and created academic teaching staff full of masters; implementation of student administration mode of teaching and training combination to develop their independence; and construction of academic school atmosphere to promote research and to facilitate teacher-student progress.
