诉讼监督工作作为检察机关的一项专门性工作,其在检察工作中具有独特的重要性,它是构成检察工作不可或缺的重要部分,是反映检察工作本质属性的重要体现,是实现检察工作科学发展的重要抓手,是检验检察工作成败与否的重要指标,然而,在实践中,存在着诉讼监督工作趋向"流于形式",工作开展"停于表面",工作合力"难于形成",工作环境"趋于恶化",工作运行"疏于管理"等现实问题,这些问题使得诉讼监督工作固有的重要性难以得到真正体现,诉讼监督工作发展状况与其重要性要求存在很大差距。新时期,党中央作出了全面加强法律监督的工作部署,检察机关作为法律监督的重要责任主体,唯有正视这些问题,在准确把握诉讼监督工作重要性中,树立工作新理念,提高工作新水平,转变工作新模式,探索工作新方法,建立工作新机制,才能实现诉讼监督工作转型发展。

Litigation supervision work as a special work of procuratorial organs, has its unique importance. However, in practice, there exist problems like mere formality in litigation supervision and implementation, difficulty in forming the workforee, worsening of working environment, and lax management, which make the importance of litigation supervision fail to re：fleet its nature truly, and widen the gap between the development of litigation supervision and its requirements. The Party Central Committee has made the comprehensive deployment to strengthen legal supervision in the new period. Procuratorial organs as the important subject of the lia- bility of the legal supervision, must face up to these problems, establish new concept, improve working level, transform work pat- tern, explore new method and establish new mechanism to realize the transformation and development of litigation supervision by ac- curately grasping the importance of the litigation supervision work.
