摘要
以吉林交通职业技术学院汽车工程专业一年级学生为调查对象,对其在汽车行业英语词汇学习中,学习观念以及元认知策略、认知策略、情感/社交策略运用情况进行调查。结果显示,职业需要是促使其学习汽车行业英语词汇的重要因素之一,但高职生普遍不善于运用学习策略,仍然沿用传统的词汇学习方法。
This paper regards the freshmen majoring in automotive engineering of Jilin Communications Polytechnic as the respondents, and investigates their learning concept and the application of metacognitive strategies, cognitive strategies and affective/social strategies in the process of learning English vocabulary for Automobile industry. The results show that voca- tional needs are the one of important factors promoting students to learn English vocabulary of automobile industry; but high vocational college students are not good at applying learning strategies generally and still follow traditional learning methods.
