An Image Enhancement Algrorithm of Foggy Video Surveillance Based on Wavelet Fusion

摘要 针对雾天视频监控系统采集的图像对比度降低、图像模糊的问题,提出一种小波融合算法。该算法在已有的图像增强方法的基础上,应用小波变换、直方图均衡化和非线性增强算子来综合处理雾天降质图像。实验结果表明,该算法对比于传统的方法不但可以明显的提高图像对比度,而且增强图像的边缘细节和纹理特性,取得较好的效果。 In view of problems of low in contrast gradient and fuzzy in imaging quality when video monitoring system acquiring image in fog, propos-es an algorithm based on wavelet fusion. Uses wavelet transform, histogram equalization and non-linear operator to process synthetically fog-degraded image based on the existent image enhancement method. The experiments show that the algorithm compared with conven-tional methods can not only obviously improve image contrast and enhance the image edge details and texture property, and achieve good results.
