摘要
自然杀伤细胞增强因子(natural killer enhancing factor,NKEF)是在进化上高度保守的一类蛋白质,与其它调节NK细胞的免疫分子均未显示出明显的序列相似性。该蛋白质家族具有两个特征结构域,分别位于氨基酸序列的N端和C端,两个结构域中均包含有氧化还原活性的Cys。NKEF是一种多功能蛋白质,参与机体抗氧化调节,具有抗感染、抗HIV-1病毒活性,参与细胞增殖、分化及凋亡,在红细胞免疫中发挥重要作用。本文对NKEF的分子特点、生物学活性及其研究现状进行了综述。
Natural killer enhancing factor (NKEF) is a highly conserved protein in evolution, which shows no significant sequence similarity with any other immune molecules in regulating natural killer cell cytotoxicity. The NKEF family has two signature regions which contains both the N- and C-terminal redoxactive cysteine residues. NKEF can participate in various biological functions, including antioxidant activity, anti-infective activity, and HIV-1 antiviral activity. Moreover, NKEF participates in cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and plays an important role in immunity of erythrocyte. This review focuses on the molecular characteristics, the biological functions and the situation of current research of NKEF.
