摘要
为满足医用激光传能要求 ,使用 CO2 激光对直径分别为 5 5 0 μm和 75 0 μm的两组蓝宝石单晶光纤进行了塑性弯曲 ,平均弯曲半径为 3.0 m m,由单个弯曲引起的额外损耗在 90 0 nm处小于 0 .1d B,对脉冲 Nd:YAG激光能量传输的损伤阈值高于 30 MW/ cm2 。实验结果表明 ,塑性弯曲蓝宝石光纤完全可满足医用激光传能的要求 ,并可减小输出端弯曲光纤头的体积 。
In order to facilitate the medical laser transmission, in this paper, we've plastically bent two groups of sapphire fibers with diameters of 550 μm and 750 μm by means of CO2 lasers, the average bending radius is 3.0 mm, the additional loss caused by a single bend is less than 0.1 dB at 900 nm, the damage threshold is higher than 30 MW/cm2 for Nd:YAG laser pulses. Experimental results show that plastically bent sapphire fibers can meet the demands of medical laser transmission with much smaller output fiber-tip sizes, and improve the flexibility of fiber-optic laser transmission systems.
