Expansion and Influence of Assets and Liabilities of People's Bank of China

分析了我国中央银行庞大的资产负债规模及过度扩张的隐患,从被动冲销外汇占款、逆经济风向宏观调控、经济发展等方面挖掘资产负债规模扩张的深层原因,以及其对货币政策有效性、金融资源配置效率、调控成本的影响,在此基础上提出了缓解中央银行外汇资产持续过快增长、合理配置金融资源、加强中央银行资产负债风险监控等优化我国中央银行资产负债总量与结构的对策。

Nowadays there is a large scale of assets of PBC, which brings potential risk of excessive expansionand impacts the effectiveness of monetary policy. The paper analyzes the total amount of assets and liabilities andtheir structures through Balance Sheet of PBC, mines the deep reasons that assets and liabilities of PBC expand andanalyzes the positive effect and negative influence of expansion. Then the paper makes some suggestions, relievingthe rapid growth of foreign assets, allocating financial resources rationally, strengthening risk monitoring of assetsand liabilities of PBC, to optimize the total amount and structure of assets and liabilities.
