论汉语国际教育中“文”的重要性

On the Importance of Culture-related Elements in Chinese Teaching as a Second Language

中国传统的语文学经过一个繁荣发展的古老阶段,到1898年出版了《马氏文通》后,它受西方语言学的影响转向了语言学,从此,改变了汉语研究系统,使活的汉语淡化了交际作用。汉语教学应重视"文",我们应赋予"文"以新的内容,建立符合汉语实际的学术体系,使世人学到真正的汉语。

The traditional Chinese language research had witnessed a period of prosperity in the ancient times until the publication of Ma Shi Wen Tong in 1898 when, under the influence of western linguistics, it turned to linguistics - a radical departure from the communicative nature of a living language. In Chinese teaching, attention should be given to the culture -related elements, such as culture, humani- ties, literature, philology and art. Of course we should redefine these elements in a new way for the purpose of the establishment of the Chinese language as a comprehensive academic system for the benefit of learners worldwide.
