溪口，有着千年的气韵。许多未曾到过溪口的人们，通常以为溪口名声始于民国时期，其实，旱在唐宋，溪口即以雪窦山的山水胜景蜚声遐迩。天光流转，今天的溪口平添了更多时代元素。难得的是，充满现代气息的溪口还是一样的宁静而优美，有着粉墙黛瓦的江南建筑，没有都市霓虹的浮糜，也没有高楼工厂林立的喧嚣。
Xikou has a history of more than one thousand years. As early as in the Tang Dynasty, Xikou was well-known for the beautiful natural scenery of its Mount Xuedou. In modern times, Xikou still keeps its feature of tranquility and peace, without hustle and bustle in big modern cities.In 2010, Xikou was recommended and chosen as the only representative of small towns in Asia to stage its exhibition in Pavilion of Urban Future.
