摘要
铁矿粉与水之间的润湿性对烧结中铁矿石制粒过程有极大的影响。接触角作为物料润湿性的一种表征,对铁矿粉而言它的测定可以通过基于毛细管渗透原理的Washburn渗透压差法来实现。粉体物料接触角测试的正确性和准确性受到多种因素的影响,其测试方法以及测试的影响因素是本文的研究内容。试验研究表明粉体料柱的填充状态、粉体颗粒的尺寸分布、温度和湿度等因素都会明显的影响测试过程,改变测试结果。就本文的研究对象,适宜的测试条件是:(1)样品粒度分布控制在适宜的范围(可选240~400目,即38—61um);(2)保持测试过程中温度值和湿度值的一致性和稳定性。试验测得五种铁矿粉的前进接触角在25~85°之间,分析表明接触角的大小与矿粉的物理、化学性质存在显著关系。
Wettability of the iron ore plays a great role during the iron ore granulation process in sinter. As a characterization of wettability, the contact angle of iron ore particles was measured via the Washburn Osmotic pressure method, which is a deformation of the Capillary Penetration Method. Correctness and accuracy of the experiment are always affected by some factors, which are the main topics of this study. It was found that the compaction status in the packed beds, the size distribution of the particles, temperature and humidity all affect the testing process. The optimal measurement conditions are suggested as follows:(a) sample with a size distribution of 240-400 mesh (61 u m -38 u m); (b) Consistency and stability of temperature and humidity. The advancing contact angles of five ores varied from 20 to 85° , and have a notable correlation with chemical and physical properties.
