渔业产地环境安全问题需要高度关注

Close attention needs to be paid on environment safety of producing areas for fisheries products

渔业的产出和水产品质量高度依赖产地水环境的地理特征和状况。然而,中国渔业水域生态环境的问题仍十分严峻。重金属、持久性有机污染物、农药、生物毒素、环境病原体及养殖水域富营养化因子可能是威胁水产品产地环境安全的主要因素。为更有效地保护中国渔业资源的产出潜力、品质特征和利用的可持续性,渔业产地环境安全问题需要得到高度重视。同时,借鉴一些较新的理念,相关的渔业最基本的生境、产地环境要素以及环境水质基准等基础研究也需要尽快得到开展和推进。

Fisheries production and quality highly depend on geographical characteristics and geological situations. However, environment problems are still quite serious for Chinese fisheries. Heavy metals, persistent organic pollu- tants, pesticides, bio- toxins, environment- pathogens and eutrophication factors for aquaculture waters seem to be the main threats to environment safety of producing areas for fisheries products （ESPAFP）. For more effective protec- tion of the productive potential, quality feature and sustainable utilization of fisheries resources, close attention should be given to the issue of ESPAFP. At the same time, the corresponding basic researches on essential habitats, environ- ment factors, and water quality criteria of fisheries should be done and further promoted as soon as possible.
