the Squid proxy server can provide file caching, replication and address filtering services, make full use of the hmited bandwidth, speed up the internal host access speed, the user needs to solve at the same time access to the network but the public IP address shortage.It can be a firewall as isolation, intranet and extranet, restrict user access, prevent the internal host under attack, network monitoring and recording of information transmission, perfect network management, ensure the security of network.This paper introduces specific methods to build the Squid proxy server in the enterprise.
