破解英语专业就业难题的对策研究

Research on Countermeasures of Solving the Employment Problems of English Major

经济结构的调整,社会、企业对英语专业学生需求模式的变化,非英语专业学生英语水平的普遍提高,国际人才的涌入,学校培养模式的欠缺,英语专业学生自身的实用知识、技能的不足,使得英语专业学生的就业形势严峻,英语已被列为红牌专业。本文采用问卷调研方法,分析了目前英语专业学生就业的困境、原因,提出了基于政府、社会、企业、学校和学生多角度、多方位解决英语专业学生就业难的路径。

Nowadays,students in English major are confronted with severe difficulties in obtaining a job and English major is listed as one of the least competitive majors in the employment market. The reasons include the adjustment of economic struc-ture, changes of need for English majors, higher level of English in the non-English majors, flush of international talents, inap-propriate teaching models of universities, and lack of practical knowledge and skills of English majors. Based on the question-naires conducted in companies, universities and governments, the reasons for the impotent employment among English majors were analyzed, and countermeasures were put forward from the per-spective of governments, society, enterprises, universities and students themselves.
