摘要
作为图书馆采编部的编目人员,本职工作就是按照各标准和规范,对各学科专业、不同载体、类型的文献资源的内容与形式特征进行分析、标引、著录等加工整合,形成完整的机读目录,存入书目数据库,组织成信息检索系统,为读者提供多方面的检索途径。作为图书馆的文献信息资源建设一线人员,如何体现对读者的服务呢?笔者通过多年来的工作经历,从三个方面探析编目员服务于读者的内涵。
As a cataloguer for the purchase and catalogue depart-ment of a library, one's duty is to carry out processing and inte-gration such as analysis, indexing, cataloguing, etc., on the char-acteristics of the contents and forms of literature resources of dif-ferent disciplines and majors, and different carriers and types, in order to form complete machine-readable catalogue, and then store them in the bibliographies database to organize the informa-tion retrieval system, thus multiple retrieval approaches are pro-vided for readers. How to serve readers is a critical issue for a frontline worker for the construction of library literature informa-tion resources. Through many years of work experiences, the writer analyzes the connotation of the cataloguer's service for readers from three aspects.
