介绍基因工程的产生及发展过程；目前基因工程在农业现代化中的应用，包括杂 草控制、抗病虫害和改良农作物品质等方面。
This paper deals with the emergence of genetic engineering and its development, its application in agcricultural modernization, including weed control, virus and nest resistamce and improvement of crop quality.
