摘要
高校理工科专业课教学过程存在的难题之一是课程中涉及大量的抽象的理论和概念,如果不能很好的加以应对,往往会使部分学生因为觉得过于抽象而失去继续学习的兴趣,进而影响到课程的学习.受到美国麻省理工学院(MIT)公开课"电与磁"教学过程的启示,本文通过授课教师Lewin教授在课堂上众多的事例和做法总结出了其课堂教学及学生成绩考核办法中的一些特点,并与国内的情况进行了适当对比.最后,文中还讨论了作为一个理工科专业课教师应该具备的素质.
One of the main challenges in the process of college science and engineering specialized courses teaching is that there are a large number of abstract theories and concepts in these courses. If they can not be coped well with, many students will lose their interest to go on with their study because these courses are too abstract. As a result,the teaching effectiveness will be influenced. Inspired from the US-based Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) Open course“Electrics and Magnetics”,some characteristics of classroom teaching and student achievement evalua-tion are summarized from several typical examples in professor Lewin’s class and provided a suitable contrast too with the domestic situations. At last,it is also discussed what qualities a science and engineering specialized courses teach-er should possess.
