从英语文学经典化到中外文化交流史研究——沈弘教授访谈录

From Canonization of English Literature to Studies in Sino-foreign Cultural Exchanges——An Interview with Professor Shen Hong

作为浙江大学外国语学院博士生导师,沈弘教授研究领域广泛,从英语语言文学到中外文化交流史,不仅跨学科性强,而且都颇有建树。沈教授就英美文学翻译与经典化、来华传教士研究、学术创新、哲社著作翻译与中国文化走出去等方面提出了独到的见解。他认为,汉译英国文学及其选集编撰是英国文学在中国经典化的重要推手,传教士研究应以史实为根据,不能贴标签,典籍英译有助于提升中国文化软实力。

As a Ph. D. supervisor of Zhejiang University, Professor Shen Hong probes into a variety of fields ： ranging from English linguistics and literature to Sino-foreign cultural exchanges. Shen＇ s studies are not only inter-disciplinary, but also fruitful. Based on the recent interview with Shen, this paper touches upon such academic topics as translation of English literature and its canonization, missionary studies, academic innovation, translation of social science and external communication of traditional culture. Shen offers insightful views on the above-mentioned aspects.
