Public Health and Social Services The public health and social services continued to make progress. By the end of 2013, there were 973,597 medical and health institutions in China, including 24,720 hospitals, 36,978 township health centers, 33,976 community health service centers, 184,058 clinics, 649,080 village clinics, 3,519 epidemic disease prevention centers and 2,994 health monitoring institutions.
In 2012,under the strong leadership of the State Council and energetic support of governments at all levels and with the joint efforts of the whole society,the Priority Development Tactics of Education had been further implemented.The education system had forged ahead and China’s reform on education system moved on steadily.Various kinds of education at all level in China developed vigorously.
