Cloud computing is such a computing mode that can provide users dynamically scalable virtual resources through Internet. This paper briefly introduces the basic concepts and key techniques of cloud computing, and analyzes the prospect of applying cloud computing technology in digital library from aspects of long-term preservation of digital resources, data mining and intelligence research analysis, resources＇ integration optimization, and subject librarians＇ deploying personalized users＇ information environment, etc.
