Achieving＂China Dream＂is the theme of the development of the new era, the precondition of which is harmonious environment. Creating a harmonious library is a duty of university library. An important factor influencing the harmony of university library is human factor. The ＂empty cup mentality＂ can be used to ease the contradiction among the people and realize the harmony among the people. This paper introduces the meanings of the ＂empty cup mentality＂, expounds the important significance of creating the harmonious library, analyzes some factors influencing the harmony of the library, and puts forward some measures for giving full play to the functions of the ＂empty cup mentality＂ in creating the harmonious library.
