谱系追溯与方法反思——以“内卷化”为考察对象

"Involution" :A Genealogical Study and Methodological Reflections

从知识考古的角度而言,"内卷化"这一概念本出自哲学家的研究。然而,在被人类学家戈登威泽借用并经由格尔茨进一步阐释后,其生命力被充分地"激活"。如今,内卷化已经成为了中国人文社会科学研究中的一个关键概念。文章以《农业内卷化》这本著作为基础,从内卷化的知识谱系、国内学界关于内卷化概念的争论、内卷化的中国研究、对内卷化的反思四个方面对"内卷化"这一概念进行了知识系谱学的梳理。

＂ Involution ＂ used to be a concept in philosophy. After introduced to anthropologist by Alexander Goldenweiser and further expounded by Clifford Geertz, the concept has been livened up and by now it has become a key concept of humanities and social sciences in China. Based on the important work entitled Agricultural Involution, the paper tries to make a genealogical analysis on the concept of ＂involution＂ from the following four aspects： its origin and development, the debate on the concept among the Chinese researchers, the studies on involution in China, and some reflections on the concept.
