摘要
利用ProCAST软件对复合添加微量Sc、Zr元素的Al-Zn-Mg-Cu合金进行了挤压铸造数值模拟研究,考察了该合金的成形性能。结果表明,充型过程中,壁厚不同部位液体充填速度也不同,壁厚越大,充填速度越快;充填不平稳,容易在液流交汇处产生夹杂、卷气等缺陷,改进工艺可获得无夹杂、卷气缺陷的零件。
Numerical simulation of direct squeeze casting AI-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy with compound trace Sc.Zr addition was conducted with the help of the ProcCAST software to understand the formability of the al- loy in a special design mold. The simulated results reveal that during filling process, different filling ve- locity can be observed at different thick location, where with increasing in thickness, the filling velocity is accelerated. The inclusion and entrapped-gas easily occurs in convergence of liquid metal as a result of un-stable filling. Through modifying design, the squeezing casting parts with inclusion-free and entrap- ment-gas free can be produced.
