This paper described the Amaryllidaceae plants medicinal species and its alkaloids contained a variety of pharmacological effects .Amaryllidaceae plants contain a variety of u-nique biological activity or the pharmacological activity of compounds of the alkaloids .New researches showed that they primarily have anti -tumor and anti -leukemia, antibacterial and antiviral as well as pharmacological activity on the cardiovascular system , central nerv-ous system .Overview of its pharmacological effects of the alkaloids provides a reference for the further development and utilization of the Amaryllidaceae plants .
