摘要
通过对新升本科院校非英语专业学生的教学观察和实验,分析得出不利于他们英语阅读能力提高的主要因素,对此,在关联理论的指导下对大学英语阅读教学提出相应的改进方法,提高教学质量的同时,提高学生的跨文化阅读能力,最终取得跨文化交际的成功。
Based on the practical teachings and observation about what hinders English reading compre- hension of students in newly - built colleges and universities, this paper tries contributing to those problems under the guidance of Relevance Theory put forward by Wilson and Sperber, which hopefully enhances the teaching quality and nurtures students' abilities of text analysis and cross - cultural communication.
