Physician Smoking Behaviors and Their Effect on Smoking Control Counseling

吸烟是目前最重要的可预防的致病因素之一,医生对于降低烟草危害最直接和最有效的方法就是为吸烟者提供控烟服务。然而,医生自身的吸烟状况直接影响到其对吸烟者控烟的态度和行为。本文就医生的吸烟行为及其对控烟服务的影响进行分析,为我国的控烟服务提供参考。

Tobacco consumption is the leading cause of preventable death and diseases which physicians face in their professional careers. The most direct method in which physicians reduce tobacco harm is to help smokers quit smoking. However, doctors＇ own smoking affects their attitudes to smoking control and their behaviors. This paper analyzes doctors＇ smoking behaviors and their effects on smoking control counseling, to provide a reference for China＇s tobacco control services.
