中国中生代今鸟型鸟类研究概述

A Brief Review on Mesozoic Ornithurine Birds of China

今鸟型鸟类属于鸟胸骨类的一支,与现生鸟类的关系密切,发现于中生代的化石数量相对较少.迄今为止,产自中国中生代地层的今鸟型鸟类共有12个属种,化石产地主要为辽宁西部.中国发现的这些今鸟型鸟类化石对于研究现生鸟类的起源、早期鸟类的辐射演化及生活习性等具有重要的意义.本文主要从化石产地、层位、形态特征、生活习性等方面对中国中生代今鸟型鸟类进行简单介绍.

Ornithuromorpha is known as one of the clade of Ornithothoraces,and it closely related to the modern birds,the fossils found in mesozoic are relatively less. Up to now,there are 12 species reported from the mesozoic of China,and they mainly came from the western of Liaoning province. These fossils which found in china have contributed extensively to the study of the orign of modern birds,early avian evolution,avian radition,habits of these birds. This article made a brief review for these Ornithurine birds from the locality,formation,morphologies and habits.
