With the wide use of elevator, the accident caused by the wire rope break often happened, and the elevator motor run time limiters becoming more and more important. The limited inspection situation for the elevator motor running time limiters is discussed, according to the actual site inspection experience, through the analysis of the control principle of elevator; and a new testing method that it is more secure, strong practicability and easier to operate is summarized.
