许祥光《选楼集句》谫论

Comments on Xu Xiangguang's Xuan Lou Ji Ju

晚清许祥光的《选楼集句》是中国集句史上的第一部集选文集。集中共收录7篇长文,皆集《文选》而成。作为前无古人的作品,具有以下几个突出的特点:首先,从表达的效果上来看,《选楼集句》词意融贯,文理自然,如出一手;其次,从形式的选择上看,《选楼集句》集散为骈,偶对工整,格律谨严;最后,从价值和意义上来看,《选楼集句》为已经十分繁荣的清代文选学提供了新的内容,开辟了新的分支。

Xuan Lou Ji Ju, written by Xu Xiangguang in the late Qing Dynasty, is the first collection in Ji Ju history. It includes seven articles. As an unprecedented attempt, it has several outstanding features. Firstly, in terms of the effect of expression, its writing style is clear and easy. Secondly, in terms of form, it prefers parallel prose to essay, with strict parallelism and vigorous meter. Thirdly, viewed from Ji Ju history, it provides a new content and a new branch for Qing Dynasty＇s prosperous study of Wen Xuan.
