高校英美文学教学之“品评”论

摘要 英美文学"品评"教学是摆脱文学课枯燥无味的状态,真正提高学生人文素质的有效途径。"品"之对象包括英语原著和文学课堂。英语专业学生通过阅读英语原著,深刻感悟英语语言的生命力,体会英语语言的魅力;教师运用合适的教学方法以及现代化教学手段使课堂活动丰富多彩,构建以作品阅读、赏析为主的课堂,引发学生共鸣,激发其学习欲望。"评"是对"品"后的滋味感受的阐述和判断,阅读后的赏析和讨论使理解更为深刻。"品""评"结合,能够有效提升学生的审美能力和批判能力。 "E-C" theory of American and British literature teaching proves to be an effective way to bring enjoy- ment to students and improve their humanistic qualities. There are two main objects of "E" (enjoy)-original English literary works and literature class. Reading the works makes English majors understand and appreciate the vitality and the fascination of English language. With suitable teaching approaches and modern teaching means, the teachers construct a colorful " text-reading-and-appreciation-oriented" class, which resonates among the students and stimulates their desire for literature learning. The subsequent "C" (comment) means that students form their opinions on literary works. "C" based on reading deepens their understanding. " E-C" theory effectively helps American and British literature teaching improve students' aesthetic judgment and critical thinking ability.
