The book ＂A Study of generation and dissemination of＇A Tale of West Travel＇＂, a new finding about ancient novels in the sight of communication studies, is a kind of successful foray into cross research about ancient novels. It is the first time to make a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the generation, dissemination and acceptance of the novel ＂A Tale of West Travel＂, through which definite communication studies and esthetics of acception run; besides, the literature is specific and exhaustive, the study horizon is wide and the ideas are new.
