摘要
颜色词是展现一个民族语言魅力的有效途径,具有重要的修辞功能,这类词除了本身的词汇意义之外,还具有比喻、夸张、拟人、象征等修辞特征。以莎剧中的变体颜色词为研究对象,从修辞的角度考察莎剧中变体颜色词的使用,可以更好地认识莎翁独到的语言魅力。
Color words can show the glamour of a nation＇ s language effectively, which havea significant rhetorical function. Besides the lexical meanings, color words also have simile, metaphor, exaggeration, personification, symbolism and many other rhetoric features. Taking the non - basic color words in Shake- speare＇s plays as research objects and investigating its usage from the perspective of rhetoric, we will have a better understanding of the linguistic charm of Shakespeare＇ s plays.
