Multi-functional development has been more and more involved in the development of rail complex and the design orientation and method for these complexes should be also amended to meet the new rising demand of these trends. From analyzing the keys of success for interchange hub and the new characteristics of passengers, a revised design method is proposed for these interchange hubs.
