摘要
大学英语课堂沉默现象表明师生间的互动失败,学生对抗、排斥英语学习的消极心理。它严重制约学生英语综合能力的培养以及教师英语教学水平的提高。本文通过问卷调查和访谈,试图发现湖北科技学院大学英语课堂沉默现状,从学生内在因素剖析其成因,探讨消除课堂沉默现象的新办法。
Reticence in college English class indicates an interaction failure between teachers and students, and students' negative attitudes of resisting and rejecting English learning, which extremely restraints the cultivation of students' English abilities and teachers' teaching improvement. This study aims to find out the reticence in college English class in Hubei University of Science and Technology and students' interior factors, in hope of exploring the new approaches of eliminating it.
