Types and Evolution of the Present Pronunciation of Ancient Initial Consonant Groups of jing,zhi,zhuang and zhang in the Gan Dialect of Southwest Anhui

皖西南赣语精知庄章组声母的今读可分宿松二郎型、潜山梅城型、石台丁香型、合流型。宿松二郎型是最早的形式,潜山梅城型从宿松二郎型变化而来,合流型从潜山梅城型演变而来,石台丁香型从合流型变化而来。

The present pronunciation of ancient initial consonant groups of ring （ 精 ）, zhi （ 知 ）, zhuang （ 庄 ） and zhang （章） in the Gan dialect of southwest Anhui can be divided into four types： the type of Erlang of Susong, the type of Meicheng of Qianshan, the merger type, the type of Dingxiang of Shitai. The type of Erlang of Susong is the oldest ; the type of Meicheng of Qianshan has changed from the type of Erlang of Susong ; the merger type has evolved from the type of Meicheng of Qianshan ; the type of Dingxiang of Shitai has changed from the merger type.
