刘文典与陈独秀交往考述

On the Contacts Between LIU Wen-dian and CHEN Du-xiu

刘文典与陈独秀都是近代皖籍著名的学者,两人一生的关系基本是亦师亦友。在长期的交往中,陈独秀对刘文典大力提携,而刘文典积极呼应和支持陈独秀早期各种活动。刘、陈二人最后因为政治理念的不同,交往疏远。

LIU Wen-dian and CHEN Du-xiu, renowned scholars in Anhui province in modem times, established a relationship of both teachers and friends. In their long term contacts, CHEN Du-xiu gave guidance and help to LIU Wen-dian, and LIU Wen-dian also actively supported CHEN Du-xiu＇ s activities in his early life. However, they became estranged because of their different political ideals.
