石膏绷带外固定治疗牛桡尺骨骨折一例

A Report of External Fixation Treatment of Bovine Radius and Ulna Fracture with Plaster Bandage

牛腿骨骨折是比较常见的外科病之一,大多数患牛由于缺乏治疗条件或治疗不及时而被淘汰。作者用石膏绷带外固定法对一例8月龄荷斯坦母牛桡尺骨开放性全骨折病例进行了治疗。术后采取了包括肌肉注射安乃近、静脉注射青霉素钠、饲料添加多种维生素和钙剂等辅助治疗措施,患牛5周后,能自行起卧和行走,患部无压痛感,呈现临床治愈。该结果表明,用石膏绷带外固定法进行牛腿骨骨折治疗成本低廉,疗效可靠。

Leg fracture is one of the common surgical disease of bovine and most diseased cows were eliminated because lack of treating conditions or have not treated in time. A 8 month-old holstein cow which had radius and ulna fractured at left side was treatmented with an external fixation operation with plaster bandage . After operation, some corresponding treatment measures were also taken, such as intramuscular injection of analgin, intravenous injection of penicillin sodium, add multivitamins and calcium in the feed etc. As a result, the cow was clinically cured 5 weeks later, characterized by geting up and walking freely , no pain when pressing on the fractured point. From the case we can make conclusion that external fixation treatment with plaster bandage can be used to cure bovine leg fractures, with the virtue of low cost of treatment but good effect.
