摘要
17世纪的荷兰画派没有重复古典油画经常重复的宗教主题和宏大深阔的场面,而是满怀激情地描绘了他们自己及其祖国的肖像。在他们的油画画面里不再是哀悼的基督、虚无的维纳斯,而是身边熟悉的牛群、森林、风车、教堂、平静劳作的妇人以及其他平凡的人群。他们的绘画被赋予家庭的温情,表现出在这个充满欢乐的世界里人们所获得的愉悦。
The 17th Century Dutch School did not repeat the recurring religious theme orgrand scenery, but chose the portraits of their country and themselves with great passion. Intheir paintings, the mournful Jesus and nude Venus had been replaced by their familiar herds,forests, windmills, churches, quietly laboring women, and other normal crowds, depictingtheir cozy families and joy of the people.
