New Theory on Combination of Three Religions of Lin Daiyu

林黛玉是儒释道三教内质性因素交织杂糅的综合化身,拟以"三教合一"称之。她的儒教徒特质体现在其忠孝信仰,受儒教教化而体现出的仁、礼等习惯性文化传统和社会心理,以及通过省身洁己以践圣贤之道;她的佛性体现在其出世思想,人生如梦的佛家语调,以及对彻底解脱的通透阐释;她的道教渊源体现在其为天上绛珠仙子谪凡还泪的身世传奇,以及自由适性、清静崇仙的思想。

Lin Daiyu is the integrated incarnation of endoplasmic factors of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, called Combination of Three Religions. Her Confucian is characterized by filial piety and faith, by habitual cultural tradition and social psychology reflecting Confucian instructions as well as practice of morality of sages through high morality and behaviors; her Buddha nature is reflected in her Buddhist words of dreamful thoughts and the thorough interpretation of relief; her Taoist Origin is reflected in life legend, freedom thought and supernatural being.
