仁者乐山,智者乐水。水乡江南,其文化富灵性与诗意,在独抒胸臆中,也往往洋溢着理性品格、批判意识和启蒙精神。对社会俗见、对经籍、对圣贤成说,江南智者常持反思的态度,独立的见解,显示出可贵的自由思想的风骨。
“The benevolent enjoy the mountains,and the wise enjoy the waters”.The water town culture of Jiangnan is filled with spirituality and poetic flavor.During the process of expressing feelings,it is often overflowed with rational character,critical consciousness and the spirit of the enlightenment.For the social convention,the classics and the sage’s sayings, the wise man of Jiangnan often hold reflective attitude,independent views,showing the pre-cious freedom thought.
