随着边境少数民族地区卷入"现代"经济程度的加深,以经济利益为诱因的群体性事件日趋多发,权利意识的提高和维权行动的出现,是该地区少数民族村民法律意识发展的必然结果。"橡胶事件"非常生动地展现了边境少数民族村民在国家法律与自身利益之间的博弈,揭示了个人以及群体的法律意识在法律实施中的重要意义。

With the border minority areas involved in the “modern” economy, group incidences incentive of economic benefits have become increasingly frequent. Consciousness of legal rights and afterward actions are the inevitable result of the development of the region＇s ethnic minority villagers＇ consciousness of the law. “Rubber Mass incidents” vividly demonstrate a game of the border minor- ity villagers between the state law and their own interests, and reveals the importance of legal consciousness of individuals and groups in the implementation of the law.
