近年来,企业对数据处理的弹性要求越来越高,XML数据为其提供了解决之道。但在pureXML之前,如何将XML数据存储在数据库中并提高存取效率却一直没得到较好的解决。就这一问题首先对XML数据和关系数据进行比较,并介绍了XML数据的传统存储方法和pureXML,通过一个实例说明如何将XML数据存储在DB2数据库中,为XML数据存储提供了一种解决方法。

In recent years, Enterprise become increasingly demanding the flexibility in data processing, XML data provides a solution for it. But, how XML data is stored in the database and improve access efficient which has not a better solution. For this problem, this paper compares XML data and relational data firstly, then introduces the traditional storage methods for xml data and pureXML. Finally, how XML data is stored in the DB2 database is explained through a example which provides a solution for XML data storage.
