Of Mice and Men is the masterpiece of Steinbeck, American author. This work is regarded as one of the best novels of realism, a myth about dream and friendship and a modem fable about destiny of hu- man being. Steinbeck explores the theme of solitude by creating Lainy who is strong with low- intellectual quotient.
