摘要
近年来国际儿童语言发展与教育研究对双语儿童的特别关注产生了丰富的研究成果。本文梳理了目前国际儿童双语研究的最新成果,从重要实证研究的发现出发,阐述了双语儿童普遍存在的语言和认知挑战,以及在流利双语儿童群体发现的认知和学习优势。本文同时介绍了社会平衡理论,以解释双语儿童在个体和环境的交互作用下普遍产生的学业落后现象。
Recently the worldwide researchers of early language development and education shed great lights on early bitingualism development. This article summarized the important findings of bi- lingual development of young children. Based on the evidences of empirical studies, this article il- lustrated the language and cognitive developmental challenges of bilingual children, along with the benefits and positive opportunities of fluent bilingual groups. This article also introduced the novel Social Equity Theory to explain the general existing academic gap of bilingual students.
