《续修四库全书·白虎通疏证》订误——王先谦《皇清经解续编》本优于淮南书局本

东汉,章帝大会诸儒于白虎观,讲论《五经》同异,令班固撰集为《白虎通》。清代,陈立《白虎通疏证》号称集大成之作。现存《白虎通疏证》的版本有清光绪元年淮南书局刊本、校刊《皇清经解续编》本。《续编》本优于淮南本。

In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Emperor Zhang convened a meeting of his Confucian scholars in the White Tiger Temple to discuss the similarities and differences of WuJing. In the end, Ban Gu was asked to compile a book called Baihutong based on the meeting. In the Qing Dynasty, Chen Li wrote Baihutong Shuzheng which has been known as the masterpiece. This book has been published by Huainan Press in the first year of the Guangxu Emperor. Also, this book has been included in in the Sequel of Qingjingjie. The latter is better than the former.
