摘要
双关既是修辞,也是人类的认知方式。选用《罗密欧与朱丽叶》的双关,运用隐喻认知理论,从语音隐喻和概念整合理论框架下一词多义的角度对其双关的认知特点进行考察,认为剧中语音双关的理解是基于双关词语的语音相似性而产生的"跨域映射"过程,语义双关的理解是听众或读者心理空间整合的结果。
As a rhetorical figure, pun is also a human cognitive way. With combining the cognitive metaphor theory, this paper analyzes cognitive understanding features of puns in Romeo and Juliet from the perspective of phonetic metaphor and polysemy in terms of Blending Theory. It is discovered in the study that the understanding of phonetic puns is based on the cross - domain mappings between the punning words with their similar sounds and the understanding of semantic puns is the result of mental - space blending.
