地理课程内容选择是地理课程设计的基本环节之一,是实现地理课程目标的关键。它有三方面的价值取向:地理学科知识、当代社会生活经验和学习者的经验。在选择中学地理课程内容时应遵循系统性原则、实用性原则、基础性原则和时代性原则,依据教育价值观、中学地理课程目标和中学生年龄心理特征,从地理科学、社会生活和学生生活中选取。

Selecting materials for middle school geography course is one of the basic steps in designing geography curriculum, and is the key for achieving the goal of geography course. It contains three value orientations： the knowledge of geography, the current social life and the students＇experience. The selection of materials for middle school geography course should be in accordance with system principle, practical principle, basic principles and age prineiple, which is based on the values of education, middle school geography course goal and the student psychological characteristics of age.
