Taking the key points from the lecture given by Mr .Bai Huawen and citing some related literature and viewpoints , this paper comments , extends , enhances and enriches the related arguments and expounds the gist of re-search method and the practice on the academic road as well as their relationship from the accumulation of material , the discovery of problem , the essentials of learning , thinking path , the role of communication , participation consciousness , the purpose of admission and mentor selection .The conclusion is that mastery is the highest academic state .
