摘要
采用实证研究、问卷调查的方式,以在University of York学习的24名中国籍研究生为研究对象,探究语境和对等翻译策略中能有效帮助中国学习者进行词汇学习的最佳方案,并进一步探究了英语学习能力强者和不强者在这两种学习策略运用上的不同表现。实验结果表明,对等翻译策略比语境策略更能有效地提高中国研究生学习英语词汇的效率。
By employing method of empirical research, questionnaire survey, 24 Chinese graduate students studying at the University of York being chosen as research object, the best way to help Chinese students in English vocabulary learning with the assistance of context and equivalent translation strategies is discussed, and different application of the strategy employed by good English learners and weak English learners in English learning is also discussed. The experimental results show that the equivalent translation strategy is better than the context strategy in improving the efficiency of Chinese graduate students learning English vocabulary.
